Mohammad Rosland Omar said based on the strength of the TLDM staff along the
waters of Semporna, Sandakan and Tawau has increased the capability of the navy
to defend the country from any serious threat.
"Sabah waters is a 'hot area' so we are carrying out
operations 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Though we are faced with
various predicaments while on duty, we are able to overcome any threats
involving illegal immigrants," he said at the TLDM open day at KD Perak
here Wednesday.
